Hess Launches 'Gas Giveaway' for East Coast Drivers

Offers chance to win free fuel for year, daily chances to win $50 gas cards
NEW YORK -- Hess Corp., a leading independent gasoline convenience store marketer on the East Coast, has launched Hess Gas Giveaway, an online contest for residents of 12 states to win up to a year's worth of free gasoline. No purchase is necessary, and contestants can enter once a day through March 31 just by registering online at www.hessexpress.com.

Contestants are eligible to instantly win a $50 Hess gasoline card and receive special offers. All contestants will be automatically entered to win the grand prizefree [image-nocss] fuel for a year awarded as a $2,000 Hess gasoline card. During the contest, 21 winners will receive the $50 Hess gasoline cards. The drawing for one grand prize winner will take place in early April.

"Coming into the New Year, we thought a free gas contest would be a fun way to introduce Hess to new customers and show our appreciation to existing customers," Rick Lawlor, vice president of retail sales and marketing for Hess, said.

The Hess Gas Giveaway is open to people 18 years of age or older who live in 12 East Coast states: Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Vermont.
