Initial staffing at the Cherry Hill, N.J., facility includes sales and experienced [image-nocss] service technicians who will focus on Gilbarco/Veeder-Root as well as other major brands of petroleum equipment.
"Our customers operating in Baltimore and Delaware wanted another option for service and asked us to move with them," said Jones & Frank president Sterling Baker.
"Retailers in the area will benefit from a new Gilbarco option, our strong focus on customer service and cost-effective solutions," he added.
The company was recently awarded honors from Gilbarco/Veeder-Root for Distributor of the Year in its region and from a major oil company by providing the best service nationally on a technology rollout, it said. The company intends to build on that success with new contiguous geography to its Maryland operations.
"PCI [payment card industry] compliance and POS [point of sale] are creating a lot of need in our industry, and we have the expertise and resources to manage rollouts from one to 1,000-plus sites," said Baker.
