Atlas Oil to reduce gas prices at Marathon station for promotion

DETROIT -- NASCAR driver Kyle Petty signed autographs and took photos with fans at Atlas Oil Co.'s Marathon Customer Appreciation Day at a Marathon gas station in Dundee, Mich., on Saturday.

The location will offer discounted gasoline prices from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2008. Hot dogs, ice cream, raffles with vendor prizes and more will be provided free for customers taking advantage of the low fuel prices.

The event is part of Atlas Oil's Marathon Customer Appreciation Plan.

With gasoline prices around $4 a gallon, consumers are feeling the pressure [image-nocss] at the pump as the summer continues to heat up. Atlas Oil said it would like to show its appreciation for consumers who have stood by them as prices have increased over the years.
