Celebration at Danbury, Conn., station over weekend included prize giveaways
DANBURY, Conn. -- Ron John's Pit Stop in Danbury is the latest station in Connecticut to offer Irving Oil clean gasoline. On September 18, owner John Lasczak turned the location into an Irving station and held grand-opening festivities over the weekend.

Irving Oil, based just north of Maine in Atlantic Canada is a leading energy refiner and marketer currently growing across the Northeast. The family-run Danbury, Conn. site, one of several new sites to recently open in the state, offers service on vehicles, full-service pumps and a price discount for customers who also shop [image-nocss] at Shaw's supermarket.

"We're very pleased to introduce the Irving name to the Danbury area," said Harry Hadiaris, general manager of Irving Oil Marketing. "Irving is always looking to partner with businesses that share our values for excellent customer service and a great fueling experience, and John and his family have exactly that."

Ron John's Pit Stop held an event on October 3 to celebrate its opening as an Irving Oil fuel retail station. The event included prize giveaways such as free fuel, emergency kits, wheel alignment and oil change gift certificates and more.
