Tanknology Names Roberts SW Sales Manager

Brings more than 30 years storage tank sales, management experience

AUSTIN, Texas -- Tanknology Inc., a leading underground storage tank (UST) environmental compliance services company, has announced the appointment of J.R. Roberts as the company's sales manager for the Southwest region.

Roberts brings more than 30 years of experience in all facets of storage tank management including petroleum equipment sales, repair, facility management, assessments and compliance.

Allen Porter, Tanknology president and CEO, said, "J.R. comes to us with a good understanding of the marketplace, and has demonstrated a track record of success. Prior to joining Tanknology, Roberts was with Northwest Pump & Equipment in the Phoenix area. During his tenure there, he was responsible for outside sales and customer relations in Phoenix and Northern Arizona.

Roberts has also held the positions of director of maintenance for Clipper Petroleum in Gainesville, Ga., and worked with MECO of Atlanta, in Doraville, Ga., for many years as the director of maintenance, responsible for daily operations and growth of the service department.

Roberts is located in Tanknology's Scottsdale, Ariz., office.
