Flyers to Fuel Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange

Construction-industry group selects Flyers Energy as preferred supplier

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange (SRBX) has named Flyers Energy LLC as its preferred fuel supplier. In an effort to bring more direct benefits to its members, SRBX has negotiated a fuel discount program with Flyers Energy for association members in good standing.

"Having a fuel discount accompanied with security and accounting features at no additional cost gives a tangible benefit to our members. We are pleased to have Flyers Energy as our partner," said Peter Tateishi, SRBX executive vice president.

Effective fuel management can be complex, Flyers said, as managers must closely monitor usage, methods of payment and receipts. Flyers offers electronic security features such as time and day restrictions and transaction limits that make fuel management more streamlined, reducing the risk associated with employees fueling company vehicles.

"Now any size fleet can have the benefits of a commercial fuel account with a negotiated price," said Jay Galvin, director of sales at Flyers Energy.

Founded in 1901 and serving 1,300 member companies, SRBX is a nonprofit trade association with the mission to provide education programs, safety programs, bidding information, legislative updates, networking opportunities and other related information and events for the construction industry to help its membership prosper.

Auburn, Calif.-based Flyers Energy franchises the Flyers fuel brand and distributes wholesale and unbranded retail fuel, commerical lubricants, renewable fuels and solar power in the United States. Flyers Energy is the largest member of the Commercial Fueling Network (CFN) and also offers fueling at 230,000 locations nationwide with the Flyers Fleet Card.
