Gulf Oil Names Director of Unbranded Marketing

Brickowski a wholesale vet

CHELSEA, Mass. -- Gulf Oil LLP said that Walter Brickowski has joined the company as director of unbranded marketing.

Brickowski brings more than 20 years of wholesale petroleum marketing experience, as well as other commodity risk management marketing and trading skills. He has previously worked at Louis Dreyfus Energy, Transmontaigne, Premcor and Valero.

Walter's market and customer knowledge, combined with his strong interpersonal skills and strong business and work ethic, will add a tremendous amount of value to our organization, [image-nocss] said Joe Petrowski, Gulf Oil's president and CEO.

Gulf Oil, based in Chelsea, Mass., is one of the Northeast's largest wholesaler of refined petroleum products. It distributes motor fuels through a network of more than 2,400 Gulf-branded gas stations, 12 proprietary oil terminals and a network of more than 50 other supply terminals. It supplies heating oil, diesel fuel, jet fuel and kerosene to these branded retail outlets through both its Gulf brand and in the seven states of New England and New York, the Exxon brand. Through its unbranded subsidiary, Great Island Energy, Gulf Oil also supplies petroleum products and risk management and financial services to industrial, commercial and independent retail firms. Gulf, through its wholly owned subsidiary, World Energy, is also the nation's largest distributor of biodiesel.
