Deal connected to credit card use

CINCINNATI -- The Kroger Co. is launching a promotion that would give customers a 15-cent discount on gasoline if they use a company-branded credit card and charge at least $100 a month, according to a report by the Cincinnati Business Courier.

With the program, set to begin today, customers who spend $100 in a one-month period will get 15 cents off per gallon on one fillup, using the 1-2-3- Rewards MasterCard, said the report. The discount is limited to a 32-gallon tank, or $4.80.
