Maverik Partners With AAA Utah

Offers four-cents-per-gallon discount on fuel, gas card with new membership

SALT LAKE CITY -- Maverik Inc. has partnered with AAAto provide AAA Utah members four cents off each gallon of gasoline  purchased at Maverik stations in Utah.

Maverick has It has 120 locations in the Beehive State, its home base.

The process requires AAA Utah members to have their membership card with them to receive the savings: Customers swipe their AAA membership card at the pump, choose the fuel payment type and pump the gasoline and see the savings on receipt.

AAA Utah is also offering $15 Maverik gasoline cards to those who sign up for a new AAA Utah membership through July 31, 2013.

"AAA Utah likes to find ways to save our members' money as they travel throughout the state and beyond," said Rolayne Fairclough, AAA Utah spokesperson. "Now, in addition to hotel and restaurant savings, your AAA card gets you discounted fuel."

North Salt Lake City, Utah-based Maverik--an "outdoor-adventure" branded convenience store and gas station chain--has nearly 250 stores in 10 states and is one of the largest independent fuel marketer in the Intermountain West. Maverik currently employs 3,700 adventure guides, and it plans to grow in its current trade area and expand into more markets, including Las Vegas, Denver and Spokane, Wash.
