Mountain View Marketing Retiring Novelty Outfitters Name

Will market those products under Hot Zone brand

LINDON, Utah -- In 2007, Mountain View Marketing will retire the Novelty Outfitters name and begin marketing all of its novelty and promotion products under the Hot Zone brand identity, according to marketing director Brad Ritchie.

The change will be phased in on product packaging and display merchandising during the first quarter of 2007. Introduction of the Hot Zone brand will be central to Mountain View Marketing's themed spring-summer point-of-sale (POS) premium novelty rack graphic changeover beginning in March.

According [image-nocss] to Ritchie, previously HOT ZONE had referred only to the company's counter novelty program. He added, The change is intended to build a strong brand identity and better communicate at point of sale that Mountain View Marketing's novelty and promotion products are new, innovative and trendy.

Keith Gudmundsen, Mountain View Marketing vice president of sales, said, The advantage to our customers is strongly branded Hot Zone merchandising. Premium Hot Zone novelty rack and counter rack seasonal display graphics generate strong sales for their stores. And, like constantly stoking a fire to keep it burning hot, Mountain View Marketing's reps stock the Hot Zone with hot new products every couple of weeks.

Mountain View Marketing is a national general merchandise supplier to the convenience store industry, with corporate headquarters and main warehousing facilities in Lindon, Utah. Brands include Pugs Eyegear sunglasses and readers, Pugs Gear apparel and work gloves, Hot Zone novelties, SNAP lighters and Energy Zone supplement center.
