Nominations Open for 2021 Retailer Choice Best New Products Contest

18th annual competition will honor the most innovative and inspired launches from the past year
Retailer Choice Best New Products Contest 2021

CHICAGO —CSP is now accepting nominations for its 18th annual Retailer Choice Best New Products Contest (BNPC). The BNPC honors today’s top innovations and tomorrow’s solutions, focusing on the most innovative and inspiring product launches from the past year.

Through June 28, CSP is asking retailers and suppliers to submit their nominations for best new products across several key convenience-store categories. Up to five submissions can be made by visiting here.

After nominations are collected, finalists will be determined by CSP editors and staff, and retailers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites.

Eligible submissions include products available in convenience-store formats between June 1, 2020, and June 1, 2021, and should show product innovation or groundbreaking advancement. Winners of the BNPC will be announced during the NACS Show®, Oct. 5-8, in Chicago, and featured in the December issue of CSP magazine.

“The pandemic certainly slowed down the rollout of new products across categories, and it also changed consumer mindsets, the things shoppers look for in the products they buy," said CSP Content Director Steve Holtz. “It will be interesting to see how, or if, this will be reflected in the products that retailers found most innovative or welcoming during a challenging year.”
