Atlas Oil Gets Some Inc.

Distributor makes list of America's fastest-growing private companies
TAYLOR, Mich. -- Inc. magazine recently ranked Atlas Oil Co. No. 4,424 on its third annual "Inc. 5000," an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. When that same list is sorted by revenue, Atlas Oil is one of only two Michigan-based companies to make the Top 20, coming in at No. 20. The list represents the most comprehensive look at an important segment of the economyAmerica's independent-minded entrepreneurs.

"Savvy trend spotters and those who invest in private companies know that the Inc. 5000 is the best place to find out about both [image-nocss] young companies that are achieving success, as well as older private companies that are still expanding at an impressive rate," said "Inc. 5000" project manager Jim Melloan.

"We're very proud to have been included in this year's "Inc. 5000," added Sam Simon, chairman and CEO of Atlas Oil. "We look at this recognition as another way to validate not only our strategic plan and ability to execute on our growth objectives, but also as a means to affirm the hard work and entrepreneurial spirit that permeates the culture at Atlas Oil."
