Former Tops Exec Clocks in at Wilson Farms

Kloc winds up with newly created marketing position

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. -- Wilson Farms Inc. has hired Bruce Kloc as customer marketing insights manager. The recent appointment comes at a time of continual growth for the Williamsville, N.Y.-based convenience store and gas station chain.

Kloc is responsible for conducting all components of marketing research to identify opportunities for growth and enhanced customer service. He is also accountable for assisting with marketing, merchandising and associate development and training activities at Wilson Farms.

He has more than 30 years [image-nocss] of domestic and international experience in marketing, research and training. He joins Wilson Farms after 17 years with Tops Markets Inc., where he gained extensive experience in a number of high-level positions including, global coordinator of Ahold Networking, director of training and development and director of marketing research. His most recent job at Tops Markets was implementing Ahold Networking process domestically and internationally. Kloc built and facilitated teams responsible for development, exchange and implementation of best practices.

Prior to joining Wilson Farms, Kloc most recently was employed with First Niagara Financial Group in Buffalo, N.Y., as customer advocacy manager. While in this capacity, he was responsible for the measurement of internal and external customer satisfaction. He also provided training to managers at all levels concerning how to best use results and improve service between internal departments as well as to external customers.

Also, Kloc is a member of the Clarence Hollow Association and Clarence Farmers Market management team.

Wilson Farms Neighborhood Food Stores currently operates 198 c-store and gas station locations across New York State.
