Kum & Go Names Director of Recruitment & Retention

DePhillips to drive store, corporate talent acquisitions

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Kum & Go LC said that Niki DePhillips has been promoted to director of recruitment and retention.

As director of recruitment and retention, DePhillips will work within Grow People, the name of Kum & Go's human resources department, and she will be responsible for driving the talent acquisition objectives for Kum & Go store and corporate positions. To ensure that the company's personnel needs are met, she will provide leadership to the recruitment team. Her other responsibilities will include developing standards and protocols for recruitment and retention, [image-nocss] identifying recruitment metrics and trends to categorize high-performing individuals and establishing effective plans for sourcing, screening and evaluating job candidates.

DePhillips has been a Kum & Go associate since December 2002, serving in various positions within the real estate department over the last five years. She advanced within the department and most recently held the position of director of real estate.

Kyle Krause, president and CEO of Kum & Go, said DePhillips "will be vital to providing a strategic vision for recruitment and retention, ensuring that the department continues to meet the demands of our growing company."

West Des Moines, Iowa-based Kum & Go has more than 430 convenience stores in 12 states—Iowa, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Wyoming and Wisconsin—with more than 3,600 associates.
