Kum & Go Names New VP for South Division

Roush comes to convenience channel from Target

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Kum & Go president and CEO Kyle J. Krause has announced that Marty Roush has been named division vice president of operations for the company's south division. In his role at Kum & Go, Roush will oversee the operations in 158 stores in Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Responsibilities include managing the sales, safety protocol and talent development in the stores across the region.

Roush joins Kum & Go from Target Corp., Minneapolis, where he worked for the last 18 years. He most recently led operations for Target stores in Kansas, Missouri, Utah and Idaho.

"Marty's retail industry expertise and passion for service excellence are tremendous assets as we continue to grow the company," said Krause. "He understands what it takes for a business to flourish in a competitive market. We're very pleased to welcome him aboard."

West Des Moines, Iowa-based Kum & Go is the fifth largest privately held, company-operated convenience store chain in the United States. The family-owned company began in 1959, in Hampton, Iowa, and has grown to more than 400 convenience stores in 11 states (Iowa, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming). In addition to a wide selection of products, Kum & Go provides customers a proprietary mix of products under the Hiland brand. Other proprietary product offerings include Java Ridge Premium Coffee, Napa Creek and Sea Ridge wines, Go Fresh Market sandwiches and Nuclear energy drinks.
