MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. -- Alto-Shaam Inc. has announced the addition of the newest member of its culinary team. John LaSalle has been named corporate executive chef for the foodservice equipment maker, the company said.
LaSalle offers a broad background of culinary experience with the last 12 years devoted to the education of foodservice professionals in the area of meat specification, menu planning and food presentation, Alto-Shaam added.
At Alto-Shaam, LaSalle will play a key role in the presentation of educational seminars, [image-nocss] participate in trade show demonstrations and provide startup training for new equipment installations throughout the United States.
Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based Alto-Shaam was incorporated in 1955. The firm's patented HALO HEAT method is achieved with a thermostatic controlled, low-density thermal cable, wrapped throughout the walls of the cooking or holding cavity. It applies this principle of uniform heat distribution, to the greatest extent possible, in a complete line of specialty ovens and serving equipment. Alto-Shaam manufacturers HALO HEAT low-temperature cooking, holding and serving equipment for convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels and institutions.
