Tech firm hires industry-savvy managers

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Pinnacle Corp. said that it has hired Denise Lewis as its new retail solutions manager for Palm POS and payment networks and Rick Davis as territory manager for the U.S. western sales division.

Lewis, well-known in the point-of-sale (POS) world of the convenience store and petroleum industry, joins Pinnacle from Gilbarco Inc., where she was a POS Product Manager since 2000. Lewis is active in industry associations and is on several committees for Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) such as POS/Back [image-nocss] Office and Implementation. At Pinnacle, she will focus on future strategic development and integration of Pinnacle's POS solutions and electronic transaction technology.

Her POS experience and position as a leader in the industry will have a significant impact on the continued success of our award-winning Palm POS, said Drew Mize, Pinnacle's Vice President of Retail Solutions.

As for Davis, prior to Pinnacle, he was at Factor Inc. as vice president of sales and marketing for eight years. At Pinnacle, he will develop and implement specific territory strategic sales plans for the western region. The Western U.S. has a lot of potential for rapid growth. We are ready to expand business in this territory by implementing a sales and client development strategy that focuses on Pinnacle's retail suite of solutions, he said.

Rick brings with him a wealth of sales and marketing knowledge specifically related to our industry, said Heather Killough, Pinnacle's vice president of sales and marketing. We will be leveraging his talents not only to expand our sales network, but also to cultivate solid relationships with new clients and to continue providingservice to our existing clients.
