Mark VII Adds Distributor

Houlk to cover eastern New York territory

ARVADA, Colo. -- Mark VII Equipment LLC, a maker of touchfree and friction carwash systems, has signed Mark VII Technologies LLC as a new distributor serving the eastern two-thirds of the state of New York.

We searched diligently to identify an experienced distributor/carwash operator to take over this important territory, said Bill Lee, director of distribution at Mark VII. What is now called Mark VII Technologies was an ideal choice, having twelve years of carwash equipment distribution and service experience plus the firsthand experience of being [image-nocss] a successful multi-site carwash operator.

Gary Sloan, president and CEO of Mark VII Technologies, said, Our experience operating sites with Wesumat SoftWash friction rollovers that we purchased from Mark VII gave us the confidence that we could build a profitable business selling and supporting the entire Mark VII product line.

Joining Ithaca-based Mark VII Technologies is Gary Houlk, whose 11 years in equipment sales includes extensive experience with Mark VII products. Mark VII Technologies will cover a territory extending from New York City in the south to the Canadian border and west out to and including Auburn, Ithaca and Elmira.

Headquartered in Arvada, Colo., Mark VII Equipment has an installed base of more than 8,000 units. The company designs, manufacturers and distributes in-bay automatic rollover and self-service carwash systems and ancillary products, and is the exclusive USA distributor of Wesumat friction carwash systems manufactured by WashTec AG of Augsburg, Germany.
