LEAWOOD, Kansas -- Eric Mettemeyer has been promoted to the position of CFO at Euronet Worldwide Inc.'s U.S. Prepaid and Money Transfer divisions (PaySpot & Veloz, respectively).
Mettemeyer joined the Euronet team in 2003 and most recently served as treasurer.
Euronet's executive vice president and CFO Rick L. Weller said Mettemeyer's promotion was one of several changes made as part of the Leawood, Kansas-based company's entire corporate finance reorganization. "As of April 1, 2006, [several] individuals have taken [image-nocss] on new roles within the Corporate Finance Group, he said. These changes have been made to enhance employee development and to bring about new perspectives and philosophies to each role, thereby enriching the overall group. Clearly each role is vital to our overall success and I have every confidence that the significant contributions made to date by the individuals involved will continue as they apply themselves to new challenges."
