More Departures From 7-Eleven

Rose, Podeschi latest to leave retailer after Japanese buyout

DALLAS -- Following the recent departures of President and CEO Jim Keyes and Senior Vice President and CFO Ed Moneypenny, Gary Rose, executive vice president of operations, and David Podeschi, senior vice president of merchandising, are retiring from 7-Eleven Inc.

7-Eleven President and CEO Joe DePinto announced today his new leadership team:

"We are fortunate to have a world class team ready to strengthen 7- Eleven's position in the convenience store industry," said DePinto. "This team of leaders is fully aligned with our strategy, [image-nocss] customer focused and committed to upholding the standards of business excellence established by Gary Rose and David Podeschi over three decades. We're grateful for their tremendous contributions and wish them all the best."

The new leadership team and organization structure follows:

Stores & Operations:

Masaaki Asakura is named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for leading the Store Operations, Merchandising, Franchising and Marketing organizations. Masaaki's direct reports include:

Cynthia Davis, Senior Vice President, Merchandising John Harris, Senior Vice President, Store Operations Jeff Schenck, Senior Vice President, Franchising Doug Foster, Vice President, Marketing

Administration:

Bryan "Buck" Smith Jr. is appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. He also is responsible for leading the Legal, International, Procurement, Real Estate and Maintenance and Construction organizations. In addition, he will remain Secretary for the company. Reporting to Buck are:

Dave Fenton, Vice President and General Counsel Steve Hall, Vice President, Construction & Maintenance Bob Jenkins, Vice President, International Allen Udisky, Vice President, Procurement Mark Wise, Vice President, Real Estate

Culture & People

Paul Rostron has been named Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. He is responsible for leading all People and Culture initiatives. Paul's direct reports include:

Sean Coghlan, Vice President, Operations HR Krystin Mitchell, Vice President, Learning, Development and Staffing Wes Wada, Vice President, Compensation, Benefits and HRIS Andrew Kuster, Director, Corporate HR and Communications

Technology

Keith Morrow is appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He is responsible for all technology initiatives. Reporting to Keith are:

Stanley Reynolds will continue in his recently announced role as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all Finance and Controls initiatives. Stan's direct reports are:
