Whitaker joins recruiting firm

LARGO, Fla. -- National Executive Personnel & Marketing Group LC has appointed David Whitaker as its new executive recruiter. Whitaker brings more than 30 years of experience in numerous leadership positions with major oil corporations and convenience store groups.

"Working previously as a distributor, national accounts manager and as business development manager in several vertical markets, David has developed strong relationships in this channel and will be responsible for major accounts on both the retail and supply side," said Jim Mercer, CEO of National Executive Personnel.

National [image-nocss] Executive Personnel has been expanding its sales force since the beginning of the year, added Mercer.

Whitaker—who will report directly to chief operating officer Charles LaMont—will be based out of Kansas City, Kansas, servicing accounts nationally.
