Shell appoints wholesale region GMs

HOUSTON -- Larry Burch, vice president of sales and operations for Shell Oil Products US (SOPUS), has announced the new wholesale region general managers:

Kevin Autin, currently general manager of the Mid-Continent Region (Direct) for SOPUS, has been named general manager of the Mid-Continent Region for SOPUS. Jim Deakin, currently general manager of the North Atlantic Region (Direct) for Motiva, has been named general manager of the Eastern Region for Motiva. Paul Stanifer, currently general manager of operations support (Direct) for SOPUS, has been named general manager [image-nocss] of the Southern Region for Motiva. Bill Spurgeon, currently pricing manager for SOPUS, has been promoted to general manager for the Western Region of SOPUS.

These appointments became effective February 15. All report directly to Burch.

In addition to these assignments, Dave Burrow, currently general manager of the West Region (Direct) for SOPUS, will be named general manager of national accounts and become a member of our national wholesale staff reporting to Hugh Cooley, vice president and general manager of national wholesale.
