GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Lorillard Tobacco Co. has announced the promotion of Kathleen A. Sparrow to senior vice president of sales.
She joined Lorillard's Field Sales Division as a sales representative in Chicago in January 1980. She held various positions in Field Sales prior to her promotion to director of sales planning/sales general, in December 1994.
Sparrow was promoted to general manager of sales planning and operations, sales general, in May 1997, and then to her most recent position as vice president of sales in January 1999.[image-nocss]
Greensboro, N.C.-based Lorillard Tobacco manufactures Newport, Kent, Old Gold, Satin, True, Maverick and Max cigarettes.
