MINNEAPOLIS -- AllOver Media Inc. has acquired Gas Station Radio, the nation's largest convenience store audio network. San Francisco-based Gas Station Radio delivers audio advertising to gas pumps in the top designated market areas (DMAs) by broadcasting with custom content that includes music, local news and sponsored auto-care tips.

AllOver Media is a leader in the out-of-home media industry striving to meet the advancing needs of its advertisers.

This acquisition allows for a heightened gas station advertising presence at AllOver Media's network of more than 50,000 gas station locations in top markets throughout the United States and Canada.

"We are now able to deliver static advertisements coupled with audio content, resulting in a multifaceted experience at the pump," said Tony Jacobson, CEO and founder of AllOver Media. "Combine that with our other media assets available at the station, and the outcome is an unrivaled media solution that can effectively market any product or brand."

The deal follows a period of growth for AllOver Media. In May, the company purchased Trans Media Group, which expanded its indoor network and allowed access into the bus transit industry.

Minneapolis-based AllOver Media specializes in targeting the hard-to-reach, on-the-go consumer. It has a national network of convenience stores, gas stations and fleet partners. Its out-of-home media line-up includes gas station advertising, truckside advertising, indoor advertising, cash jackets and door hangers. These products allow it to create a national, regional or local media solution.
