Clark Adds Electronic Reader Board Option

LED system does not require computer

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Clark Brands has added an electronic reader board option to its image program. The electronic reader board, manufactured by Everbrite Signs, can be ordered as either a 6-inch or an 8-inch between-pole system with LED electronic message center.

The electronic reader board is retrofittable and saves time and money by using the existing reader board cabinet, allowing old, worn and broken placard reader board faces to be replaced.

The new electronic reader board is easy to program and has a variety of options. No computer is required and there is no [image-nocss] software to load or learn. Messages can be scheduled to run by time of day, day of week or specific dates. Up to 20 messages can be stored. One or two lines of text can be displayed in a red or amber color. LEDs are protected from weather and breaking by shatterproof polycarbonate faces.

"We're excited to offer the electronic reader board option as part of our ongoing Image 2010 initiative," Karl Goodhouse, Naperville, Ill.-based Clark's president, said. "The clean and sharp display will enhance any location that is looking for a fresh look."

"One of Everbrite's goals is to help our customers more effectively promote their products and services. We believe our new electronic reader board provides a value-added solution to the Clark Brand's family of signs," said Joseph A. Martin, executive vice president of sales for Everbrite LLC.

Greenfield, Wis.-based Everbrite is a worldwide leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of illuminated signs, point-of-purchase displays, specialty medical lighting, menu systems and scoreboards.

Clark Brands owns the Clark family of brands. The company licenses the Clark gasoline brand and the Four Corners Coffee brand to independent petroleum marketers and retailers. Clark also processes credit card and payment transactions for independents in 28 states.
