ATLANTA -- InfoTouch Corp. has announced the immediate release of an optional add-on module that is compatible with InfoTouch touchscreen convenience store point-of-sale (POS) software, incorporating the new Honeywell EasyDL age verification handheld scanners.
Honeywell's Easy DL scanners are now available on InfoTouch's touchscreen c-store POS software. All merchants currently using InfoTouch's touchscreen c-store POS software can benefit from handheld scanners integrating Honeywell's new age verification enhancement by scanning the driver's license. InfoTouch has also [image-nocss] expanded the functionality of the scanners allowing them to instantly create or update a new or existing customer database record. This innovation, available in c-store POS software, is legally compliant in 48 of the 50 states and two provinces in Canada.

Merchants currently using InfoTouch's c-store POS software require age verification for tobacco and liquor sales to remain legally compliant. InfoTouch's touchscreen c-store POS software now is providing this advanced feature available for thousands of our merchants throughout the United States and Canada.
