Technology allows for accruing of c-store loyalty points at car wash
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. -- Intelio Technologies Inc., a leader in self-service marketing, has developed an interface to allow leading brands of car wash entry systems to interface with Kickback Rewards Systems (KRS).

The new interface will allow car wash operators who use the Unitec Wash Select II or Ryko AMTT, Ryko AMTT CS and Intelio Activa entry systems to interface with KRS. This will allow c-store operators to integrate their car wash with their customer reward solution to drive repeat business both inside the store and at the car wash.

"We wanted to provide c-store [image-nocss] operators a low-cost solution to allow them to integrate the car wash into the enterprise wide loyalty solution," said John Carroll, president of Intelio.

Pat Lewis, CEO of KRS, added, "Historically, operators had to largely exclude this profit center from their loyalty programs because of the lack of integration to the car wash payment kiosk. Now, they will be able to affect the behaviors of their customers and drive profits."

This new interface is bundled with broadband credit-card processing and is available today for Unitec Wash Select II and Ryko AMTT customers for $2,995. Intelio WashMAX customers will receive this new enhancement at no additional cost as part of the monthly hosting and maintenance program.

Intelio offers interactive, self-service marketing for the car wash industry, providing a full line of remote management and marketing tools to help car wash operators, reduce downtime, increase revenue and improve customer retention. In addition, Intelio manufactures Activa, the first color touchscreen entry system with customizable video clips, designed for multi-site c-store operators.

KRS, a Twin Falls, Idaho-based company, is a leader in rewards systems software in the convenience and petroleum industry. With hundreds of clients across the United States and Canada, KRS has helped administer loyalty programs to nearly 12 million cardholders over the past 10 years, it said.
