Love's Rolls Out PetroNetwork System

Implements WRA monitoring, fuel management services

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. has completed its rollout of Warren Rogers Associates Inc.'s (WRA) PetroNetwork S3 Fuel Management System at all Loves Travel Stops nationwide. Love's Travel Stops, headquartered in Oklahoma City, operates 141 travel stops in addition to its country stores and is growing at the rate of 18 new sites per year. It operates in 31 states.

Joe Stallings, fuel inventory manager for Love's Travel Stops, said WRA's Kathy Kenney managed the rollout and worked closely with him in personalizing reports, notification procedures and verifying [image-nocss] accurate automatic tank gauge set up.

WRA has provided monitoring and fuel management services for 25 years and developed the PetroNetwork S3 system to meet the precise wet stock management requirements of travel centers, hypermarket fueling facilities and "very active" retail petroleum sites, it said. The PetroNetwork S3 System can be used for all motor fuels stored in complex tank systems up to 100,000 gallons in capacity and that turn over product throughputs in excess of 2.7 million gallons per month. In addition to providing monitoring of tanks and associated lines, the PetroNetwork S3 system provides remote meter diagnostics, dispenser flow rates, theft detection and delivery audits.

In addition to Loves Travel Stops, the PetroNetwork S3 system is in use at a variety of car rental facilities, trucking and travel center facilities and petroleum retail operations in the United States and in the United Kingdom.

Middletown, R.I.-based WRA has been providing storage tank products and services since 1979. Its clients include major oil companies and petroleum retailers, car rental and trucking companies, large truckstop chains and public agencies. WRA began development of the PetroNetwork S3 system in order to provide advanced performance analysis of fuel storage and transfers in order to improve the efficiency of gas stations, trucking facilities and other fueling operations.
