McPherson Oil Selects RedPrairie

Southeastern petroleum distributor seeks to improve efficiency

TRUSSVILLE, Ala. -- McPherson Oil Products has selected RedPrairie Corp.'s RedPrairie Warehouse Management to support expansion and increase customer satisfaction.

McPherson Oil, a Southeast distributor of industrial lubricants and a full-service petroleum products and services company, plans to implement the RedPrairie solutions at its two regional distribution centers. It also offers FUELZ as an unbranded offering to gasoline dealers.

The company will implement the RedPrairie system at its western regional distribution center [image-nocss] in Trussville, Ala., and at its eastern regional distribution center in Atlanta beginning in the fall of 2007. In phase two of the implementation, McPherson will implement the RedPrairie solution at local warehouse locations throughout the Southeast.

The RedPrairie warehouse and enterprise solutions are expected to improve operational efficiencies and productivity, increase inventory turns and increase customer satisfaction. RedPrairie offers a 24-hours-a-day, 365 days-a-year customer support model.
