Selects Ready Training Online, Targeted Solutions to develop web-based training

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores has launched a new partnership to bring online training service to its employees. The company will work with Ready Training Online Inc. (RTO), a full-service online training company, and Targeted Solutions, a convenience petroleum consulting company, to build a web-based training program tailor-made for Rutter's team members and managers.

Jere Matthews, vice president of operations for Rutter's, said, "We believe this partnership will introduce enhanced training methods to our employees which will enable us to provide even better service [image-nocss] to our customers."

Since 2004, Ready Training Online has used the power of cloud computing to become a leader in online training/eLearning for the convenience/petroleum industry. Jeff Kahler, president and CEO of RTO, said, "We are very excited to partner with the team at Rutter's. As they continue to grow, we'll provide an important resource for delivering a more consistent message online to not only their new associates, but experienced team members as well."

Tom Hart, founder and CEO of Plymouth, Mass.-based Targeted Solutions, a top-to-bottom consulting firm for the industry, said, "I'm proud to be part of the team in developing an educational offering for Rutter's Farms Stores. With our latest release, 'Guide to Success--The First 24 Hours,' we'll be able to offer an HR solution to guide both trainers and trainees to a successful start during the hiring/training process."

Elizabethtown, Pa.-based RTO specializes in web-based training programs. It offer packages that combine courses specific to a business and others that include more general topics such as sexual harassment and diversity/violence in the workplace. It also offer courses to keep stores and business compliant, such as PCI compliance, Stage II vapor recovery, age-restricted sales, underground storage tank (UST) training and many more.

Family-owned and third-generation managed, York, Pa-based Rutter's Farm Stores operates 56 convenience stores in five Central Pennsylvania counties.
