JOPLIN, Mo. -- SiriCOMM Inc. has forged an agreement with Truckstops Direct Inc. to solicit to its membership SiriCOMM's Wi-Fi service and to resell the company's InTouch (wireless Internet access) service to highway travelers who use their facilities.
Truckstops Direct represents 178 independent truckstops and travel plazas in 44 states. The membership may adopt SiriCOMM's Wi-Fi network installation and resell InTouch service which is currently available in more than 470 truckstops.
The agreement with Truckstops Directprovides [image-nocss] another avenue for SiriCOMM to continue its network expansion and sales of InTouch service, said David Mendez, executive vice president of SiriCOMM, Joplin, Mo. Engaging the independent truckstops is a win-win for both organizations and the highway transportation industry as a whole.
