Prairie Farms Dairy is launching four new lactose-free dairy options with a lineup that includes gallon-sized whole and 2 percent milk, cottage cheese and sour cream (both in 16-ounce tubs). Using a natural enzyme to break down lactose found in dairy, lactose-free milk gallon option offers the convenience of a larger multi-serve container and more value—containing 33 percent more milk than a 96-ounce option offered by other lactose-free milk brands, the supplier says.
