SKOKIE, Ill. -- Meat snacks abounded at the 7-Eleven Franchise Owners Association of Chicagoland (FOAC) Trade Show earlier this month. Jerky and sausage companies Nov. 15 converged on Skokie, Ill., for the convenience-store chain’s seventh annual exhibit, hoping to bring their newest beefy treats to retailers' shelves. Jerky brand Stryve Protein Snacks showcased its flagship product, Gourmet Beef Biltong, at 7-Eleven’s trade show. Biltong is a form of dried, cured meat that is cut into thick strips. Flavors include Original, Zesty Garlic, Peri-Peri, Smoked and Teriyaki.
Chef-curated jerky company Chef’s Cut displayed an array of meat products at the show. The brand’s Honey Barbecue Chicken Jerky, one of the company’s many nonbeef products, contains 100% all-white meat chicken breast coated in a blend of spices, honey and molasses. The product is available in 1.25-ounce, 2.5-ounce and 7-ounce packages.
Jack Link’s Cold Crafted products combine smoked meats and cheese into one bite. These meat treats are made with 100% natural beef and Wisconsin cheese and come in six varieties:

Cheese and sausage producer Best of Wisconsin Shop, also known as Wisconsin's Best, showcased its Bacon Cheddar Sausage Bites at the 7-Eleven’ franchisee show. The naturally smoked, bite-sized sausages come in 7-ounce packages and contain 35 grams of protein per case. The Sausage Bites come in five other flavors, including Beef, Garlic, Honey BBQ, Teriyaki and Jalapeno n’ Cheddar.
Kosher meat snack producer Tomer Kosher offered a look at its beef stick varieties during the expo. Flavors include Original, Pepper, Cajun, Jalapeno and Hot, all of which contain ground chuck beef mixed with various seasonings. Tomer Kosher Beef Sticks are free of gluten, flour, dairy, soy and all meats besides beef.
