Chobani Celebrates 10 Years With Free Yogurt Campaign

Initiative will run in TV ads, various media outlets

NORWICH, N.Y. -- Chobani LLC is celebrating its 10-year anniversary by giving free yogurt to consumers. To receive a free cup, fans have until March 4 to print a coupon from Chobani’s website and visit any participating retail store. The coupons—which can be redeemed for items such as Chobani Greek or Smooth yogurt, Flip yogurt snacks or drinks—are usable in all states except for New Jersey and Louisiana.

“[Chobani is] the combination of everyone who's been a part of our journey—from our team, to our communities, to the millions of people who love our yogurt,” said Hamdi Ulukaya, CEO and founder of Chobani. “That's why we are so excited to celebrate this milestone with as many people as possible.”

The campaign will run in a series of TV ads developed by the brand's in-house creative team and will include a one-day interactive experience at Grand Central Terminal in New York. Attendees can "plant" virtual seeds that correspond to their favorite Chobani SKU. For every seed planted, Chobani will donate a case of yogurt to No Kid Hungry, a Washington D.C.-based charity dedicated to ending childhood hunger. Chobani will also market the campaign through Amazon Echo and its own employee engagement, as well as various media banners, care packages, radio spots and more.

Norwich, N.Y.-based Chobani is a top-selling Greek yogurt brand and one of the largest yogurt manufacturers in the United States.
