CHICAGO — Ferrara Candy Co. is rolling out a new kind of Trolli sour gummy worms designed to keep fans guessing about the flavors.
Trolli Sour Brite Mystery Night Crawlers feature white and neon-colored sour gummy worms that offer a sweet and sour flavor combination. Each bag will contain three dual-flavored candies.
"Trolli and the idea of mystery is a perfect fit, as fans love the deliciously dark experience that Trolli always brings," said Annie Meyer, marketing director for Ferrara Candy Co. "To add to the intrigue, we do not plan to release any flavor details, so we know Trolli fans will enjoy guessing the flavor combinations in our unique Mystery Night Crawlers."
Mystery Night Crawlers are available in 3.8-ounce peg bags (SRP $1), 5-ounce peg bags (SRP $1.79) and 7.2-ounce peg bags ($2.99) at convenience and grocery stores nationwide. Other Trolli products include Sour Brite Crawlers Very Berry, Sour Bite Octopus, Sour Brite All Star Mix and more.
Chicago-based Ferrara, which The Ferrero Group bought in 2017, has nearly 35 brands, such as SweeTarts, Nerds, Lemonhead and Now and Later. It also manages the recently acquired Keebler and Famous Amos businesses.
