PHILADELPHIA and CHICAGO — Kraft Heinz is partnering with Frankford Candy to launch Gummy Lunchables Cracker Stackers and Pepperoni Pizza Kit, a new gummy-take on Lunchables.

“Consumers are increasingly interested in experiences with favorite food brands that they can share with family and friends, and gummy candy is on fire right now,” said Molly Jacobson, director of business development at Chicago-based Frankford Candy.

The Gummy Lunchables are a shareable, fruit-flavored reimagination of the original Lunchables products. The 6.2-ounce Cracker Stackers feature eight gummy crackers and two “slices” each of gummy pepperoni, gummy ham, gummy Swiss cheese and gummy cheddar cheese—enough to build four cracker stacker sandwiches.

The Gummy Lunchables Pepperoni Pizza Kit comes in a shareable 6.3-ounce package. Each kit includes three gummy pizza crusts, 12 gummy mozzarella cheese shreds, 15 gummy pepperoni slices and one liquid pizza sauce packet—enough to build three pizzas.

Both varieties of Philadelphia-based Kraft Heinz Gummy Lunchables are available online and at select stores nationwide and will be available at other retailers nationwide in the coming months. The snacks have a suggested retail price of $5.

“The new Gummy Lunchables provide families a completely new way to imagine, build and share together,” said Samantha Mills, associate director of brand communications at Lunchables. “At Lunchables, we believe playing with food is something to be celebrated, and there's no pairing more fun than gummy candy and everyone's favorite buildable snack.”

The new Gummy Lunchables join a growing lineup of other Kraft Heinz brand gummy treats, each of which comes in packaging that resembles the real product. The line includes the following snacks.

  • Kraft Mac & Cheese Gummies: macaroni-shaped gummies that come in a 5.64-ounce package at a suggested retail price (SRP) of $4.
  • Oscar Mayer Gummy Hot Dogs: a five-count 4.4-ounce blister pack of gummy hot dogs with an SRP of $5.
  • Oscar Mayer Gummy Bacon: five gummy bacon strips in a 6-ounce package with a SRP of $5.

Additionally, a 40-count package of individually wrapped mini Oscar Mayer gummy hot dogs will roll out at Target, Walgreens, Publix and other retailers nationwide this month. Each gummy hot dog comes in two pieces—the hot dog bun and the meat—at a suggested retail price of $7.

Based in Chicago, The Kraft Heinz Co. produces several well-known consumer product brands, including Kraft, Heinz, Oscar Mayer, CapriSun, Jell-O and Kool-Aid.

Frankford Candy, based in Philadelphia, partners with companies in the entertainment and food industry to bring iconic brands into the candy aisle.
