Jim Coleman introduces Mr. Zippy's Express Ice & Water House

HOUSTON -- Carwash equipment manufacturer Jim Coleman Co. has introduced Mr. Zippy's Express Ice & Water House. This concept is a freestanding kiosk that delivers both purified ice and water to the customer.

The concept offers the customer several options. The customer has the choice to purchase one, three or five gallons of purified water. The customer also has the choice to purchase a 10-lb. bag or 20 lbs. of bulk ice.

Mr. Zippy's ice is never touched by human hands and is only exposed to food- grade stainless steel, according [image-nocss] to the company. The water is purified by an eight-stage process before it reaches a container. The purifying process includes five-micron filtration, ion exchange water softener, granulated activation carbon, once-micron filtration, reverse osmosis, post filtration and ozone disinfection.

Potential locations for this freestanding kiosk are carwashes, convenience stores, supermarket parking lots, marinas, resorts and truckstops, the company said.

Mr. Zippy is intended to be an additional profit center for existing carwash locations, added the Houston-based company.
