Freedom Oil Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Rewards program offers cents-off fuel, giveaways

WARSAW, Ind. -- Freedom Oil LLC, with support from CITGO Petroleum Corp., is celebrating its 10th anniversary by giving back to its loyal customers through its Freedom Rewards Program. Customers earn cents-off-per-gallon rewards based on purchases of specially marked items at the six participating Freedom Express locations through August 31.

Every time they swipe their Freedom Rewards card, customers are also automatically entered to win prizes including $2,500 in CITGO Gift Cards, a 32-inch flat-screen television, an iPad and a bicycle.

"Without the support and continued patronage of our regular customers, we wouldn't have made it past our first year, let alone our 10th," said Greg Cobb, managing member of CITGO marketer Freedom Oil. "As a family run business, it was important to us to celebrate by reaching out to the people who made it possible--our customers. We know that everyone can use a little extra money or free gas. The Freedom Oil Rewards program is truly our way of giving back to all of those people that have given so much to us."

Through August 31, the marketer is inviting customers to visit www.takinittothepump.com to register for a Freedom Rewards card and start earning rewards. When they present their card at participating Freedom Express locations, customers earn cents-off-per-gallon rewards and discounts on specially marked items such as snacks and beverages. There is no limit to the dollar amount that can be earned with a rewards card. In addition, every time they swipe their registered Freedom Reward card, customers will be entered to win prizes.

"As a locally owned and operated business, we congratulate Freedom Oil on a decade of serving the Warsaw region," said Alan Flagg, general manager light oils marketing for CITGO. "The fact that Freedom Oil is celebrating this milestone by giving back to its community shows why they have succeeded for the past 10 years, and we look forward to watching them succeed for years to come."

Customers can also go to the website to view their account balance, savings and rewards information.
