Supermarket and convenience-store retailer Giant Eagle opened its newly constructed WetGo car wash location on Thursday in the Cleveland suburb of Parma Heights.

The “bubble-bursting” five-day celebration ending Monday includes free car washes and the opportunity to sign up for an unlimited wash program for $9.99 per month for the first three months.

  • Giant Eagle’s Convenience Division is No. 31 on CSP’s 2022 Top 202ranking of c-store chains by store count.

“This grand opening is designed to celebrate this community that’s welcomed us with open arms,” said Brandon Daniels, senior public relations manager.

The new car wash is not attached to a Giant Eagle GetGo Café and Market convenience-store location, but instead is the retailer’s fourth standalone WetGo, Daniels told CSP. The company now operates 46 WetGo locations.

Giant Eagle operates 270 GetGo c-stores throughout western Pennsylvania, Ohio, northern West Virginia, Maryland and Indiana.
