ARVADA, Colo. -- Mark VII Equipment Inc., the North America subsidiary of WashTec AG of Germany, the world's largest manufacturer of vehicle cleaning systems, has announced that Rob Raskell has joined the company as director of distribution.
Raskell has 18 years of experience in the car wash industry, including operations management of retail car wash chains, sales for a car wash distributor and distribution sales for a leading car wash chemicals manufacturer.
He will be based in the Spokane, Wash., area.
Ryan Beaty, Mark VII's executive vice president of sales, welcomed Raskell to the team.
"His deep experience on both the supplier and operator sides of the carwash industry will make him a great resource for helping Mark VII distributors grow their businesses,” Beaty said.
Founded in 1966, Mark VII pioneered the touch-free automatic carwash and develops car wash technology and equipment. Following its acquisition by WashTec in 2006, Mark VII completely refreshed its product portfolio and upgraded its manufacturing facilities. Arvada, Colo.-based Mark VII now sells and services direct in many markets; factory-trained distributors handle indirect markets.
