Outsite Announces Appointments, Promotions

Christiansen, Vanderbijl, Herkner, Hampton tackle growth

NORFOLK, Va. -- Outsite Networks Inc. has announced several new key personnel appointments and promotions designed to support continued growth in the firm's loyalty marketing technology and services for the convenience retail industry.

Brad Christiansen has been named western regional sales manager. He brings to the company retail petroleum operations experience. His most recent position was with Red Eagle Oil, a multi-branded jobber, where he was instrumental in launching the company's Red Eagle Rewards loyalty program.

Christiansen [image-nocss] will be responsible for sales activities in 11 western states.

Wim Vanderbijl has been appointed to the position of client services director. Vanderbijl has a long history in the retail petroleum equipment field including positions with both Schlumberger and Tokheim.

In addition, the company continues to grow its client service team by promoting Sara Herkner to senior account manager and adding Kelly Hampton as account manager.

More than 75 retailers use Norfolk, Va.-based Outsite Networks' In-Touch loyalty marketing system technology to operate loyalty programs in more than 1,200 sites. The company's technology allows retailers to offer consumers real-time incentives and 1:1 audio messages at the pump and inside the store based on consumer purchase history, basket and demographics. The technology currently supports more than 1.9 million consumers and has issued more than eight million rewards, and plays more than 25 million audio messages to consumers every month, said the company.
