BURNABY, B.C. -- TIO Networks Corp. said it is deploying more than 100 E-Wiz financial services kiosks in as many ExxonMobil On the Run and Tigermarket convenience stores in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, Texas.
E-Wiz, a member of the TIO Network, is ExxonMobil's brand of self-service automated bill payment and financial services kiosks that enable convenience store patrons to securely and conveniently pay their wireless, cable, utility and other bills in cash, purchase prepaid products and access other financial services.
Over the past decade, Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio have experienced a substantial population growth. A large proportionestimates range from 25% to 58%of this community is unbanked', said Hamed Shahbazi, chairman and CEO of TIO Networks. TIO Networks sees a substantial market opportunity to serve these consumers by providing access to bill payment services and other financial tools.
Currently, E-Wiz kiosks serve more than 50,000 people infour states.
