TPI Adds Support for Petroleum, Fleet Cards, Bill Pay

Supported fleet cards include WEX, Voyager, MasterCard

REDMOND, Wash. -- TPI Software LLC, the developer of TPI SmartPayments software and a provider of payment processing solutions for retail and online merchants, has announced support for petroleum, fleet cards and card-not-present bill payment support with First Data's Concord EFS platform. Supported fleet cards include Wright Express (WEX), Voyager and MasterCard.

The TPI SmartPayments Server enables merchants to securely process payments in retail, e-commerce, mail-order and wireless industries using the Internet as the primary communication channel, [image-nocss] resulting in two to four second transaction times. TPI Software also provides a free software developer kit that enables third-party application developers to integrate this functionality into their point-of-sale (POS)/order entry applications.

Our technology can be seamlessly integrated into line of business applications providing enormous value to merchants said Bill Pittman, President of TPI Software, Redmond, Wash. For example, we can now combine our ability to support fleet cards and petroleum transactions in combination with credit, ATM debit, EBT, gift and electronic checks to provide a complete end-to-end payment solution for grocery and convenience stores.

TPI Payment Server was designed for integration via web services and supports a range of needs from standalone merchants, multi-lane retail outlets and online merchants operating their own websites to large Internet Service Providers (ISPs) hosting multiple merchant sites. TPI Payment Server provides businesses transaction processing, updates, cross-platform support and security, with direct connections to major payment processors, thus eliminating the ongoing costs of a gateway.
