Clyde’s Market Inc.

Enmarket Stations Inc. took over the operation of the Clyde’s Markets convenience-store chain, located in southeastern Georgia, in December 2017. (It remains on the list because the sale did not close before the Dec. 31, 2017, cutoff for the Top 202.) Clyde’s Market’s competitive advantages are customer service, cleanliness and consistency. Its primary customers are blue-collar men who live in the rural areas where the markets are located. Its c-stores offer grocery items and snacks, as well as fresh food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A variety of hot and cold beverages are also available.
