Buc-ee’s to Carry Spider Energy Drink

Partners with Golden Grail Beverages on brand available in Strawberry Lemonade, Citrus Bite, WidowMaker and more

Mega-convenience-store retailer Buc-ee’s in November will begin carrying Golden Grail Beverages’ Spider Energy Drink.

Spider Energy Drink comes in flavors such as Strawberry Lemonade, Citrus Bite and Zero Citrus Bite. Another flavor, WidowMaker, blends 300 milligrams of caffeine, taurine, ginseng and guarana.

“Golden Grail Beverages and Buc-ee’s have joined forces in a strategic partnership that unites two iconic brands with a shared commitment to quality, value and excellence,” said Russell Kaffenberger, chief revenue officer of Golden Grail Beverages, Weston, Florida. “This alliance will allow Golden Grail Beverages to expand its distribution footprint and reach new consumers. At the same time, Buc-ee’s will be able to offer its customers a wider variety of premium beverages.”

Golden Grail Beverages is focused on driving innovation, promoting growth and managing a diverse beverage portfolio with responsible investment. Its portfolio includes brands in emerging and expanding beverage categories, such as Spider Energy Drink, Sway Energy Drink, Trevi Fruit Essence Water, Tickle Water, Sketch Can for Tweens, Cause Water, KOZ Water and Scorpion Energy Hemp/CBD. It is dedicated to eco-friendly practices and replacing plastic with more sustainable alternatives to reduce plastic pollution.

The partnership will introduce Spider Energy Drink to Buc-ee’s consumer base across the Southeast.

Buc-ee’s on Sept. 13 broke ground on a new travel center in Harrison County, Mississippi, its first in the state. It also is planning to open its first c-store in Ohio, in Huber Heights.

Founded in 1982, Buc-ee’s has 46 locations, 34 in Texas, as well as 12 in other states. Since beginning its multi-state expansion in 2019, Buc-ee’s has opened travel centers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina and Tennessee. The Lake Jackson, Texas-based company is also headed West with groundbreakings in Colorado and Missouri.
