Bud Light to Release Carb-Free Beer in 2022

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — To celebrate Bud Light’s 40th anniversary, the brand is introducing a new product: Bud Light Next.

The drink will be Anheuser-Busch’s (A-B) first zero-carb beer and launch in 2022. Bud Light Next is made for people who are always on the move, according to the brand. It is a light, crisp beer with 4% ABV and 80 calories.

Bud Light Next is expected to be available nationwide beginning in early February.

St. Louis, Mo.-based brewer A-B is known for its beer brands including Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, Natural Light and Stella Artois. It also makes Bud Light Seltzer, Bon Viv Spiked Seltzer and Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer.
