Skinny Nutritional Names Miller Chief Sales Officer

Beverage vet has been with Sobe, Glaceau Vitamin Water, Fuze, Function Drinks, Mistic Brands

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. -- Skinny Nutritional Corp., the maker of Skinny Water and a leader in the zero-calorie enhanced water category, said that it has hired Robert Miller to the position of chief sales officer.

Miller brings more than 25 years of beverage industry experience to the company, previously working with companies such as Sobe, Glaceau Vitamin Water, Fuze, Function Drinks and Mistic Brands.

"Bob Miller brings proven beverage experience and leadership to our company. Bob will be responsible for building out the national distribution network for Skinny Water, as well as hiring a team of regional and area sales managers to drive case sales," said Michael Salaman, chairman and CEO of Bala Cynwyd, Pa.-based Skinny Nutritional Corp.

"I believe Skinny Water will be one of the great beverage brands," Miller said. "I have been involved with some of the great ones: Vitamin Water, Sobe, Mistic and Fuze. I feel that my experience, along with the entrepreneurial spirit of Skinny's management team, will help grow Skinny Water into a national brand."

The Skinny Water  lineup features eight flavors, including Acai Grape Blueberry (Hi-Energy), Raspberry Pomegranate (Crave Control), Lemonade Passionfruit (Total-V), Orange Cranberry Tangerine (Wake Up) and as part of its Sport line: Blue Raspberry (Fit), Pink Berry Citrus (Power), Kiwi Lime (Active) and Goji Black Cherry (Shape).
