G.K. Skaggs Welcomes Regional Sales Managers

Walker, McGrath join beer, wine and spirits importer

IRVINE, Calif. -- G.K. Skaggs Inc. has added Dru Walker as its western regional sales manager and Joe McGrath as its eastern regional sales manager.

Walker will be responsible for helping the company achieve its sales volume, revenue and distribution goals by representing G.K. Skaggs' portfolio of beers and wines to all retail chains, wholesaler and distributor channels.

She will manage the states of California, Nevada, Washington, Oregon and Alaska. Concerning her new role, she said, "I am very excited to join the team at G.K. Skaggs Inc. and look forward to building my capabilities in the wine and beer industry. I am passionate about our beer and wine brands and look forward to contributing in G.K. Skaggs Inc.'s growing success."

Walker has more than nine years sales and marketing experience in the spirits industry.

Her skills and experience include territory growth, three-tier management, brand management, strategic and tactical planning, develop custom programs, budget accountability and key account relationships.

McGrath has been in the beverage industry--wine specifically--since 1995. His industry experience includes managing sales team, brand management, key account relationship management, industry and product education internally and externally, forecasting

on and off premise product plans and execution, created innovative menus for restaurant accounts and hosting events and dinner parties.

With McGrath's high level of expertise in the beverage industry, he will also manage and represent G.K. Skaggs diverse portfolio of beers and wines across all retail chains, wholesaler and distributor channels.

The beer, wine and spirits industry "is ever changing and ever evolving. Every year new vintages come out and with them all new challenges and awards. I have been in this business for many years now, and I find no matter how much the industry changes or how much the economy changes there is always wine, beer and liquor to be sold. What is not to love about that?"
