Jenny's Adds Cabana Lemonades by Pulse

Beverage maker hopes distribution deal with K&G will spur market interest, growth

DENVER -- K&G Distribution (Jenny's Markets), has placed the Pulse Beverage Corp.'s Cabana Lemonades by Pulse on its convenience stores shelves. K&G Petroleum is the distributor to KG Conoco convenience stores based in Denver serving 38 stores in Colorado and more than 200 additional stores in New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri and Utah.

Bill Reorda, director of distribution for K&G, said, "We will be placing Cabana in all of KG Conoco convenience stores throughout Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri and Utah."

Bob Yates, CEO of Pulse, said, "We are very [image-nocss] pleased to be working with K&G. Their interest in the product and regional market penetration is an excellent fit to our sales efforts. We look forward to a very positive outlook based on their strategic position in these key markets."

Pulse Beverage--maker of the Pulse brand of "good-for-you" NutriPurpose beverages--is a development-stage company preparing to manufacture, distribute and market the Pulse brand of NutriPurpose beverages originally developed by a major healthcare company and containing effective ingredients that the company said are widely considered to be critical to adult health.

Denver-based K&G Petroleum is a wholesale and retail gasoline company that also owns and operates convenience stores only in the state of Kansas after the company split off the 78 former Circle K stores it purchased in Missouri, Utah, New Mexico and Colorado. The company owns and operates 36 Jenny's Markets and 13 K&G Conoco stores. In October 2008, K&G purchased Circle K sites formerly owned by ConocoPhillips through Pacific Convenience & Fuels LLC. The Circle K franchise stores becoming the basis of PCF Saleco, with units in Utah, New Mexico, Kansas and Missouri.
