RaceTrac, a southeastern retail gasoline convenience store chain, has 60 total stores total in Georgia. Whynatte will launch in the 30 larger locations with future plans to move into the 30 smaller stores.
"Our new partnership with RaceTrac presents an incredible opportunity for Whynatte. Working with RaceTrac expands our reach into previously underserved areas and gives our [image-nocss] customers a convenient and consistent place to pick up a Whynatte Latte. We are grateful for the amazing support of our customers which has made this milestone possible, and we look forward to building a long term relationship with the team at RaceTrac," said Jesse Altman, co-founder and chief executive officer.
Whynatte Latte has continually gained traction in southeastern accounts, aided by the company's recent partnership with United Distributors, one of the top volume beverage distributors in the United States.
The product began in a Santa Cruz, Calif., kitchen as a concoction of Jagermeister and homemade latte, otherwise known as a "Whynatte shot." Altman started to explore coffee-based retail options as a way to streamline his latte brewing.
RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. operates approximately 270 retail gasoline convenience stores throughout Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.
Both companies are headquartered in Atlanta.
